Harper Planning Consultants have secured permission at appeal for an award- winning development described by the New London Architecture Design Awards panel as “the best example of an individual new home across the capital.”
The scheme at Junction Road, Islington was designed by autorarchitecture but refused permission by Islington Council last year. Harper Planning Consultants pursued an appeal, providing evidence to show that objections on design and tree protection grounds were unfounded.
Having also contested Islington’s demand for an off-site financial contribution towards affordable housing the Inspector accepted our argument that a Ministerial Statement should outweigh the Council’s adopted policy in what may become a landmark decision.
